Exercise Canary Gold/Medsail is a Joint Services Adventurous Sailing expedition to the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean. HMSTC Sabre a Nicholson 55 with a crew of 12, will be based in Lanzarote from October 2008 to Apr 2009. After this she will depart for the Mediterranean with details to be displayed shortly. Following Medsail she will return to the UK in Sep 09.
The exercise is open to all members of the Armed Forces. Personnel with no previous sailing experience as well as those with qualifications are encouraged to apply. |
